I graduated from Bond University, Australia, in 1996 with a Bachelor of Arts; Journalism/Film and Television. After various roles in office administration and media liaison roles, I started a family and founded and ran an award winning playgroup catering for over 30 children and their families. I completed a Teaching Assistant Diploma in 2011, as well as a Professional Development Certificate in supporting Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2014. I am currently working on my Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education.
I have volunteered and worked in a variety of school settings for the past 7 years specializing in helping children with learning difficulties, setting up various early years reading programs, assisting at sporting events and on field trips, and working as a supply teacher. I have a caring approach, while also being understanding, patient and supportive.
I especially enjoy working with younger children and assisting students with differing needs. I believe it is my role at Sevenoaks to assist in contributing to the delivery and preservation of a protective, inclusive, fun, and positive learning and growing environment for children.
